Scarlett Tsang was born and raised in HongKong and moved to Victoria when she was 15. She finds peace in making arts, breaking free from societal rules about showing emotions. Her arts are mostly about family and traditional Chinese upbringing, exploring love and conflict while questioning what’s right and wrong. Mixing real life with imagination, she creates art that reflects her journey of self-discovery and speaking up for what matters. Her art celebrates her unique mix of personal and cultural identity, inviting others to think about their own feelings while looking at her art and encouraging people to be themselves. Through her art, Scarlett Tsang shows how art can help us understand ourselves and the world around us.
